Recently, the National Tax Service released an updated version 3.70 of Technical Note NT 2016.003 on the NF-e Portal. This update addresses the renewed Common Nomenclature of Mercosul (NCM) table and tables of taxable measurement units in foreign trade (Utrib).
The new version imposes the following deadlines for implementation:
Approval Environment: 15 March 2024;
Production Environment: 1 April 2024.
The main changes include the incorporation of 57 new codes and the removal of 17 codes. Both will become effective as of 1 April 2024.
