Compliance Alert - New fields and changes to validation rules for Transportation invoices

Technical Note 2024.001 version 1.01, has been released on the CT-e Portal along with the corresponding schema package. This Technical Note promotes adjustments to the CTe, CTe OS and GTVe validation rules to improve quality and adapt the system to approved legislation.

What are the key changes?

• The rejection message change (203) related to not being qualified to issue CTe will now display the message: "Issuer not qualified or in an irregular situation to issue CTe";
• Modification of CTe and CTe OS Schema: Addition of Tax Benefit.
• The tags for ICMS Exemption Value (vICMSDeson) and Tax Benefit Code (cBenef) have been introduced as optional elements in the CTe and CTeOS taxation groups.

Implementation timeline

• Approval environment (company testing environment): 11 March 2024;
• Production environment: 8 April 2024.
