Update: Compliance Alert - CT-e Version 3.00 deactivation from 31 January 2024
Date: 2024-01-29

According to the DF-e portal, version 3.00 of the Electronic Bill of Lading (CT-e) will be permanently deactivated as of 31 January 2024, at 11:59 PM. This means that both the CT-e issuing systems and shippers' systems must be transitioned to version 4.00 of CT-e by this date and time.

Any attempts to use version 3.00 after the specified deadline will result in the following rejection:

  • cStat: 239
  • xMotivo: “Rejeição: Cabeçalho - Versão do arquivo XML não suportada [Versão 3 com vigência encerrada (ATO COTEPE/ICMS 123/22), utilize a Versão 4.00”

Transitioning systems in due time is strongly advised to prevent disruptions or interruptions in CT-e issuance operations.

The final implementation of the new version will become effective as of 1 February 2024.
