| Update: | Compliance Alert – SEFAZ-MS certificate chain update on 18 April |

The Finance Department of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul (SEFAZ-MS) published a press release stating that the certificate chain will be updated on 18 April 2024. The new 1st Level Certificate Authority will be AC VALID SSL EV.
Companies that do not yet have the AC VALID SSL EV certificate chain installed should install it as soon as possible to avoid problems authorizing electronic tax documents, such as:
- Approval environment (company testing environment): electronic consumer invoice (NFC-e) and electronic energy fiscal note (NF3-e);
- Production environment: transportation electronic invoices (CTe), goods electronic invoices (NF-e) and electronic consumer invoices (NFC-e).
The implementation timelines are as follows:
- Approval environment (company testing environment): 4 March 2024;
- Production environment: 18 April 2024.
