Uruguay’s General Tax Directorate (DGI) has issued Resolution 752/2024, establishing the mandatory use of web services when executed through authorized providers following the Technical Specification.
What operation types require the use of the web service?
These are the exchange of Electronic Tax Receipts (CFE) and the corresponding acknowledgements of receipt between electronic issuers when these are executed through authorized providers. Furthermore, the Electronic Tax Receipts (CFE) must be sent in an "envelope". Its characteristics are specified in the document Envelope Format.
When?
The exchange of CFE and acknowledgements of receipt will become mandatory as of 1 July 2024.
