The NF-e portal has announced a temporary extension of the deadline for transmitting Electronic Invoices (NF-e) related to the Prior Issuance in Contingency Event (EPEC) from 7 to 14 days.
The extension comes in response to issues with Electronica Goods Invoice (NF-e) sharing from 6 to 13 May 2024. With the regularization of SEFAZ RS's internalization of authorized EPECs, the delivery of corresponding NF-es has been enabled. Therefore, companies must transmit NF-es related to pending EPEC reconciliations within the new extended deadline.
Special attention is requested for this extension, and all necessary measures should be taken within the established timeframe.
