On 1 June 2024, the Digital Agency, Japan's Peppol Authority (PA), responsible for managing Japan's standard specifications for digital invoices (JP PINT), published updated versions for Standard Invoice JP PINT, JP BIS Self Billing Invoice, and JP BIS Invoice for Non-tax Registered Businesses.
What has changed?
- Standard Invoice JP PINT v. 1.0.3, (Qualified Invoices) is compliant with the Peppol International (PINT) model for Billing version 1.0.2.
- JP BIS Self Billing Invoice v. 1.0.1, (Purchase Details) is largely identical to Peppol BIS Standard Invoice JP PINT Version 1.0.3, which is compliant with the Peppol International (PINT) model for Billing version 1.0.2.
- JP BIS Invoice for Non-tax Registered Businesses v. 1.0.1, (Sectioned Invoice) compliant with Peppol PINT BIS Billing version 1.0.2.
