On 3 June 2024, A-NZ Invoice and Self-Billing specifications v. 1.0.11, including validation artefacts, were published. To align with the mandatory date of PINT A-NZ Billing v1.0.1, all changes relating to the A-NZ Invoice and Self-Billing specifications May 2024 release will become mandatory from 1 September 2024.
The adopted changes align with Peppol BIS Billing v. 3.0.17, released on 27 May 2024, including modifications to EN16931 v.1.3.12 (documented in CEF release notes related to UBL). Consequently, these changes have been applied to the A-NZ Invoice (BIS Billing extension), Self-Billing specifications and validation artefacts.
The Australian and New Zealand Peppol Authorities have committed to migrating to the PINT A-NZ Billing specification, which becomes mandatory on 15 November 2024. Subsequently, after 15 May 2025, the A-NZ Peppol BIS 3.0 extensions will be removed and no longer supported. For more information, see the specifications for PINT A-NZ v1.0 (current) and PINT A-NZ v1.0.1 (effective 1 September 2024).
eProcurement BIS
The Peppol eProcurement BIS can be used in Australia and New Zealand without localisation. The updates published on 27 May 2024 will become mandatory as of 26 August 2024.
A-NZ Invoice and Self-Billing specification v.1.0.11
The adopted changes align with Peppol BIS Billing v.3.0.17, and some code list and validation artefacts have been updated.
PINT A-NZ Billing and Self-billing Process May 2024 v.1.0.1
The code lists have been updated, and some editorial changes to BIS, including tax information, have been made. Furthermore, some corrections were made to align with BIS Billing 3.0 A-NZ.
