The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has extended its Cancellation of Fines and Exemption of Financial Penalties Initiative for an additional six months, now effective until 31 December 2024.
This extension applies to all tax laws in the Kingdom. Taxpayers must register under relevant tax laws, submit any previously unfiled returns, and pay the principal tax debts to benefit from the initiative.
Penalties for tax evasion and fines paid before the initiative's start date are not covered in the scope of this initiative.
