On 12 July 2024, version 1.01 of NT 2024.002 was published, introducing the Simplified Electronic Bills of Lading (CT-e) authorization service and adjusting the Electronic Manifest of Tax Documents (MDF-e) layout and validation rules.
The Simplified CT-e service allows carriers to issue a single CT-e when dealing with multiple senders or recipients for a single service, streamlining the process of issuing CT-e. Additionally, this update renumbers rejection codes to avoid conflicts with previous technical notes.
For the MDF-e, version 1.01 of NT 2024.002 aligns its layout and validation rules with the Simplified CT-e and adjusts the implementation deadlines as follows:
- Approval environment (company testing environment): 16 September 2024;
- Production Environment: 21 October 2024.
This update also includes adjustments to the Multi-year Plan (PAA) validation rules.
