On 4 September 2024, SEFAZ São Paulo announced the activation of the testing environment for Electronic Electricity Invoices (NF3-e) and Electronic Telecommunications Invoices (NFCom).
These documents replace traditional paper invoices and are secured by digital signatures, ensuring their legal validity. They also help simplify tax obligations and allow real-time monitoring by tax authorities.
Distributors and taxpayers in São Paulo can now begin using the SEFAZ Virtual RS system for testing. SEFAZ will oversee the registration process for participants in the testing phase.
