Update: | Compliance Alert – Changes to the Book of Rules and Validations v. 1.7.9 |
Date: | 2024-10-24 |
The Superintendence of Tax Administration (SAT) will update the Book of Rules and Validations v. 1.7.9 for the Online Billing Regime (FEL). When the update comes into effect, the issuance time in the DTE (Sp.: Documento Tributario Electrónico - Electronic Tax Document ) must be in Guatemala's time zone. The validations of the fields' date and time of issuance (Sp.: "Fecha y hora de emisión") will be updated to reflect this change.
What are the main changes?
- Time Zone: Only GMT-6 time zone will be accepted. Providing another time zone will result in a rejection of the document;
- Default Time Zone: If the time zone (GMT-6) is not specified, the system will automatically assume it is GMT-6;
- Milliseconds: The specification of milliseconds is optional.
Below are examples of valid formats.
