Compliance Alert - Introduction of SML DK to Nemhandel e-delivery

Update: Compliance Alert - Introduction of SML DK to Nemhandel e-delivery
Date: 2024-11-28

On 11 November, updates to the Nemhandel infrastructure were announced. The changes concern a new service metadata locator (SML DK) replacing the previously used SML EU and a completed phase-out of the OIORASP Network. Thus, documentation and specifications have been updated to reflect these changes.

Migration between SMLs
The migration period between the SMLs takes place from week 46 to week 48 (11 November until 1 December 2024).

  • During the migration period: Recipients in Nemhandel e-Delivery Network will be registered in both SML EU and SML DK and can thus send documents regardless of which of the two SMLs they have migrated to.
  • After the migration period: All Nemhandel e-Delivery recipients (except those with an active Peppol registration) will be removed from SML EU and only exist in SML DK.

Updated guidelines
Several changes have also been made to the guidelines reflecting the complete phase-out of the OIORASP Network and the introduction of SML DK. The changes include:

  • Guidance to error handling for the document exchange;
  • Expansion of Appendix H, guiding how schematrons in the Reference implementation can be externalised;
  • Updates to several documents and specifications: “Reading guide”, “Glossary”, “Business and administration”, “Part developer documentation”, “Operation”, “Registration of Nemhandel eDelivery endpoints”, “Instructions for NHR registration via PORS which is already registered in the 3rd party SMP”, “Network specification”.

The guidelines have been published on Gitlab and can be found here under “Guidelines”.

Guide for testing in the demo environment
Furthermore, the Danish Business Authority has created a guide based on tests by industry participants in the demo environment. The guide can be found here and may be used for migration to SML DK.
