| Update: | Compliance Alert – Transition to the New Central Application of e-Invoice and e-Waybill |

The Turkish Revenue Administration (“Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı” or “GİB”) announced the transition to the New Central Application of e-Invoice (e-Fatura) and e-Waybill (e-İrsaliye).
The New Central Application provides and controls the communication between the "Sender Unit" (“Gönderici Birim”) and the "Mail Box" (“Posta Kutusu”) used in e-Invoice and e-Waybill documents. This transition will begin at 00:01 (GMT+3) on December 14, 2024.
The following shall be considered:
- e-Invoice and e-Waybill portals and e-Document inquiry services will not function during the transition;
- Taxpayers registered to e-Invoice and e-Waybill Applications and taxpayers using e-Invoice and e-Waybill Portals can issue the documents as printed (paper or e-Arşiv invoice) during the transition;
- Since documents will not reach the recipient until the transition is complete, it is recommended to create and send any planned documents electronically before the transition begins;
- The GIB's exit IP will remain unchanged, and the live environment will be accessible through the following addresses:
- Soap 1.0 and 1.1 versions will not be supported, and the relevant systems must be developed to support the Soap 1.2 version.
