The Panamanian General Directorate of Revenue (DGI) published a new version of the Technical Sheet of the Electronic Invoice for Qualified Authorized Suppliers (PAC). The latest version modifies validation 1622.
The modification entails that if the RUC values of the recipient (whether natural or legal persons) are entered in field B406, and the recipient is registered as a foreigner, it will render a rejection.
The change came into effect on November 29, 2024.
