On January 28, 2025, the National Portal of NF-e released version 1.12 of Technical Note 2021.002, introducing the Easy Invoice (Nota Fiscal Facil/ NFF). This implementation aims to simplify the issuance process of electronic fiscal documents for merchandise sales and transportation services.
What are the changes?
The NFF centralizes the complexity of fiscal legislation into a system available on the National Portal of NFF, providing an easy and intuitive issuance process for these documents. Key changes include modifications in the access key generation system, which now incorporates:
- Issuer device number;
- Complete issuance date (year, month, and day);
- Issuer identification type (CPF/CNPJ);
- Daily sequential number;
- Fiscal document series.
What are the impacts?
- Simplification of the issuance process;
- Centralization of fiscal complexity in the system;
- More intuitive interface;
- Greater flexibility in series numbering;
- Better control of online and offline issuances.
The application now controls the expanded series range (000 to 999) and identification of the type of issuance (0 for online, 1 for offline).
The new version of NFF is now active, bringing significant benefits to autonomous transporters, individual micro-entrepreneurs, and primary producers.
