The Secretariat of Finance of Sergipe (Sefaz) has announced the availability of the issuance environment for the Electronic Communication Service Invoice (NFCom).

The NFCom simplifies and modernizes the fiscal documentation process for communication services, providing real-time issuance and monitoring by the tax authorities. It replaces traditional paper invoices with a digital format, ensuring legal validity through digital signatures.

The platform became available for communication service providers on January 20, 2025.
The mandatory use of NFCom starts on November 1, 2025. Until then, it is optional, and taxpayers can continue using NFSC (Communication Service Invoice) and NFST (Telecommunications Service Invoice).
