The General Directorate of Internal Revenue (DGII) of the Dominican Republic has released an update to the Electronic Tax Receipts (e-CF) version 1.0 technical documentation (XSD).
Updated Technical Documents
The following e-CF v1.0 XSDs have been updated:
- e-CF 31 v1.0 – Electronic Tax Credit Invoice (B2B)
- e-CF 32 v1.0 – Electronic Consumer Invoice (B2C)
- e-CF 33 v1.0 – Electronic Debit Note
- e-CF 34 v1.0 – Electronic Credit Note
- e-CF 41 v1.0 – Electronic Purchase Receipt
- e-CF 43 v1.0 – Electronic Receipt for Minor Expenses
- e-CF 44 v1.0 – Electronic Receipt for Special Regimes
- e-CF 45 v1.0 – Government Electronic Receipt
- e-CF 46 v1.0 – Electronic Proof for Exports
- e-CF 47 v1.0 – Electronic Receipt for Payments Abroad
Key Changes in the XSDs
For all ten voucher types:
- The <xs:pattern value=”[0-9]{2}”/> restriction is removed from the “TipoeCFType” element;
- The “ProvinciaMunicipioType” element now has a string-based restriction instead of an integer restriction.
For vouchers 31, 32, 34, 41, 43, 45, 46, and 47:
- The “UnidadMedidaType” element is updated from a string-based restriction to an integer-based restriction.
For vouchers 31, 32, 33, 34, 44, and 46:
- The “TipoIngresosValidationType” element is updated from an integer-based restriction to a string-based restriction.
For vouchers 31 and 32:
- The value restriction “[0]{1}[1-6]{1}”/> in the “TipoIngresosValidationType” element is removed.
For the Electronic Voucher for Exports (46):
- The “ViaTransporteType” element is now string-based instead of integer-based.
For the Electronic Receipt for Payments Abroad (47):
- The “ViaTransporteType” element is removed along with its associated restriction and value fields.
Effective date
The updated e-CF v1.0 XSD technical documentation is now available for download on the DGII’s website.
