Update regarding our legacy token authentication endpoints.
Announcement: | Update regarding our legacy token authentication endpoints |
Service: | Pagero Online |
Date: | 2025-04-23 |
To ensure the stability and security of our Pagero Online token authentication mechanism, we are amending a recent enhancement and updating the behavior of our legacy authentication endpoints (auth.pageroonline.com).
To ease the migration towards our new authentication endpoints (sso.pageroonline.com), we introduced bridging functionality where you could send a token obtained from our legacy endpoints and we would exchange this for a new token valid towards our new endpoints, without promting for username and password.
Effective from 2025-04-23, the legacy authentication endpoints will no longer support this bridging functionality and will no longer issue this type of exchange token.
This will have no impact on tokens that have already been issued via the legacy endpoints - they remain valid as expected.
As a reminder, we encourage all customers/partners to transition to our new API authentication endpoints in good time before the 2025-06-01 deadline. When switching to the new endpoints, you need to reauthenticate once to ensure a seamless experience.
For more information on this, please see our updated migration-guidelines: https://pagero.github.io/partners/apis/api-authentication-authorization-old/service-endpoint-migration-guide/.
