| Update: | Compliance Alert- SUNAT updates the Validation Rules for CPEs and GREs |

SUNAT published an update to the Rules and Validations for "Electronic Payment Receipts" (CPE) and “Electronic Remission Guides" (GRE).
The main changes are as follows.
- CPE Validation Rules:
- Catalog 54: 5 new codes were added to the catalog of goods and services subject to deductions, which affect receipts such as invoices, sales receipts and debit notes;
- GRE Validation Rules:
- 129 new codes were added to the standardized goods catalog for use in GRE-Sender and GRE-Carrier.
The catalogs came into force on April 1, 2025. They can be accessed under CPE and GRE.
