Update: Compliance Alert – New invoicing rules for all businesses from April 1, 2025

Since January 1, 2025, large businesses have been required to provide a breakdown of the value-added tax and other indirect taxes charged to consumers under General Resolution No. 5614/2024.

Since April 1, 2025, SMEs have also been obliged to adhere to this new requirement.

Web service (own development) Taxpayers must make adjustments to their own invoicing software or market software.
  • Large companies: must specify VAT and other internal tax from January 1, 2025
  • Other taxpayers must specify VAT from April 1, 2025
Cash registers Requires firmware approval  
Fiscal printers An individual can enter information via billing software if they use free fields. This does not require firmware re-approval.
