The Lithuanian parliament, the Seimas, has approved a proposal for VAT relief for hospitality, catering, sports, cinema, and culture sectors to reduce the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
The standard VAT of 21% will be reduced to 9% from 1 July 2021 to 31 December 2022.
Note that the measure does not apply to alcohol.
