Update: | Compliance Alert - The Budget law has been approved confirming that cross-border reporting via Esterometro is still optional until 30 June |
Date: | 2022-01-05 |
As we reported earlier, the Tax Work Decree associated with the 2022 Budget Law (DL 146/2021) has been already approved by the Senate but has been further passed to the Chamber to approve it where the initial estimate was that the law will enter into force at the end of the year 2021.
On 30 December 2021, law no 234 was published in the Official Gazette and came into force on 1 January 2022, which means that Italy officially postponed the cross-border e-invoice reporting mandate for six months- from 1 January 2022 to 1 July 2022.
