Pagero has decided to change the wording stated on PDF presentations to clarify the non-fiscal validity of the presentations.
When Pagero delivers a CIUS-PT tax valid invoice to an end recipient, Pagero also delivers a PDF human-readable representation as an attachment so that the recipient can understand the content of the electronic invoice. The attached PDF also has a watermark to clarify that it is not a tax valid document.
Until now, Pagero has included the wording in Portuguese “Este documento não tem relevância para efeitos fiscais” in these documents to clarify that they have no tax validity. From now on, the wording "2ª via" (in English: 2nd copy) will be stated instead.
In practice, this change does not alter anything. This message is just informative for our Portuguese customers.
