Update: | Compliance Alert - B2G e-invoicing postponement for medium, small and micro-sized taxpayers |
Date: | 2022-07-29 |
Once again, mandatory B2G e-invoicing has been postponed in Portugal. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 disease pandemic, the Government has been adopting a series of measures to combat the pandemic
Initially, the B2G e-invoicing mandate was planned for January 2021. Once the mandate was live, in November 2021, decree law n. 104/2021 was published postponing the e-invoicing obligation until July 2022 for medium small and micro-sized taxpayers.
Now, on 30 June 2022, decree law n.42-A/2022 was published postponing this obligation again. The new mandatory date for issuing B2G e-invoices is 1 January 2023.
