The Italian Tax Agency (TA) has published updated FatturaPA specifications.
The main change is the introduction of new document type TD28, which should be used for reporting of purchase invoices received from San Marino not via SDI. Consequently, the XSD schema for ordinary invoices also changes.
Additionally, TA included an updated version of Annex A – Technical Specification version 1.7.1 – and the tabular representations for simplified and ordinary invoices. These requirements apply to transactions between businesses.
Finally, for e-invoicing in the public sector, the Italian Tax Authority has updated the description of the Natura N7 element.
The above changes will enter into force as of 1 October 2022.
