Croatia is set to replace the kuna (HRK) with the euro (EUR) as the new official currency starting from 1 January 2023. This has been confirmed by the decision of the European Council on the 12 July 2022.
The display of both currencies will be mandatory for B2C sales/transactions for the period 5 September 2022 to 31 December 2023. A fixed conversion rate set at 7.53450 kuna for 1 euro will be used for the conversion.
