In June 2022, ZATCA released an initiative to suspend fines and penalties for taxpayers subject to all tax laws in the Kingdom.
The exemptions qualify all tax-related fines and penalties in the country, including e-invoicing penalties.
The initiative was scheduled to end on 30 November 2022. However, yesterday ZATCA announced a further extension of 6 months, starting from 1 December 2022 until 31 May 2023.
