| Update: | Compliance alert – New XRechnung format version 2.3.0 released |

Germany has published an update about the discontinued use of older XRechnung versions and the adoption of the latest version.
Currently, it is not recommended to use version 2.1.1, as it is an outdated version. Version 2.2.0 was released on 1 August 2022 and is valid for one year until 1 August 2023.
The latest version, XRechnung 2.3.0, will enter into force on 1 August 2023. Once the newest version becomes effective, XRechnung 2.2.0 should no longer be used.
